Hub Corporate social responsibility news DPL Group Mental Health Day DPL Group Mental Health Day We sat down with everyone from the group to engage and discuss our mental health as we work in the construction industry 7 January 2025 3 min read On December 23rd 2024, we had a company-wide Mental Health and Wellbeing morning, at the Beattie Suite inside the Portman Road Stadium. We sat down with everyone from the group, Protect and Detect & Green Technology Solutions (Suffolk) Ltd, to engage and discuss our mental health and how to help ourselves and others, and even though we are in a season of great joy it can be a very difficult time for some. We also welcomed Jack from the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, who shared his inspiring story with us and spoke about the great services Lighthouse offers. The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families. Their mission is to ensure that our construction community can easily access the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support they need and to develop healthy and sustainable futures for this generation and the next. They have a 24/7 helpline that offers free and confidential support and advice on a wide variety of wellbeing issues. They have an expert helpline advisors who provide a listening ear and can signpost you to additional support where necessary. Also, they have a team of specialist caseworkers who can support you with complex and multiple issues, and will work with third party organisations to ensure that you are able to access all the possible support available.
