On April 1st, 2023, Fabio Wardley added another significant milestone to his career by claiming the WBA Continental heavyweight title with a commanding performance against American boxer Michael Coffie, securing victory by technical knockout in the fourth round. This win further cemented his reputation as one of Britain’s most exciting heavyweight prospects.

He went on to defend his British heavyweight title for the first time on October 28th, 2023, delivering a dominant seventh-round stoppage of David Adeleye in a high-profile bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This fight also saw him claim the Commonwealth, WBO European, and WBA Continental titles, marking a pivotal moment in his career.

In 2024, Wardley faced fellow British heavyweight Frazer Clarke twice in two fiercely contested bouts. The first, held in March, ended in a dramatic draw after twelve gruelling rounds. Wardley fought through a severe nose injury, demonstrating immense grit and determination. Their rematch in October 2024 solidified their rivalry as one of the most entertaining in British boxing.
